Many of these classes are designed for teacher recertification in cooperation with area school systems. Prior to taking any of these classes, you should check with your school system to determine their participation and accreditation requirements. BE AWARE: If your school system is participating in the Education Consortium, you may be required to register through your school system's central office. IF YOU ARE AN EMPLOYEE OF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING VIRGINIA PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEMS, CONTACT YOUR SCHOOL SYSTEM CENTRAL OFFICE TO INQUIRE ABOUT FREE EDUCATION CONSORTIUM CLASSES: Clarke County, Culpeper County, Fauquier County, Frederick County, Page County, Shenandoah County, Warren County, and Winchester City. Employees of any of these participating school systems may be able to take some classes at no cost but must register through the school system.
