CASP+ Prep and Certification (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner)

 This is a G3 FastForward Grant Program: These programs are short-term training courses resulting in industry credentials for high-demand professions in our region. If you have been a Virginia resident for at least the past 12 months, you may be able to take this class for 1/3 of the full cost (FastForward price) or at $0 cost if you qualify for G3. • CompTIA CySA+ certification

This advanced-level program will cover skills relating to security architecture and senior security engineering. Other skills taught are governance, risk, and compliance. Materials and Exam included.
 
It is very fast-paced. An additional 20 hours or more of study time outside class hours will be expected. Students must have reliable internet at home to complete the labs and other assigned homework. Instructors will provide students with all materials and codes on the first day of class. Instructors will provide students with specific dates and instructions for testing. Individuals should have an advanced understanding of computer skills and knowledge.
