CompTIA A+ Certification or IT degree completion within last 5 years.
Course Description:
With the rising need for IT professionals with project management skills, CompTIA Project+ is a great starting point for gaining entry-level skills. This certification class prepares you to manage those small, less complex projects. Throughout this class, you will learn essential project management concepts such as the project life cycle, ensuring appropriate communication, managing resources and stakeholders, and maintaining project documentation. This class will prepare you to take the newest Project+ version, PK0-005, and provide the experience required to advance to higher IT Management certifications, such as PMP.

What to Expect:
This course is an entry-level course to prepare students for a career in IT management. It is very fast-paced. An additional 20 hours or more of study time outside of class hours will be expected. Students must have reliable internet at home to be able to complete the labs and other assigned homework. Instructors will provide students with all materials and codes on the first day of class. Instructors will provide students with specific dates and instructions for testing. Individuals should have a moderate understanding of computer skills and knowledge.
