Course Description:

This class serves as the first level of training in the Plumbing craft. Structured as a hybrid class, a combination of online training and live classroom/lab training, students learn the following content: Core Curriculum; Basic Safety; Intro to Construction Math; Intro to Hand Tools; Intro to Power Tools; Intro to Construction Drawings; Basic Communication Skills; Employability Skills; Introduction to the Plumbing Profession, Plumbing Safety, Plumbing Tool, Introduction to Plumbing Math, Introduction to Plumbing Drawings, Plastic Pipe and Fittings, Copper Pipe and Fittings, Cast-Iron Pipe and Fittings, Carbon Steel Pipe and Fittings, Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing, Fixtures and Faucets, Introduction to Drain, Waste, and Vent (DWV) Systems, and Introduction to Water Systems.

Textbooks, online access code, and all materials are included in the cost of the class.
Computer and internet access are required for this hybrid class.
