Workforce Financial Assistance Grant - FANTIC

The FANTIC - Financial Assistance Grant will pay 100% of the first third (1/3) of all FastForward Programs reducing your cost to $0 if you qualify. Qualification is based on your or your family’s annual adjusted gross income. If your class only has a FastForward icon FastForward logo, please refer to the maximum family income chart below. If you have an active SNAP or TANF card, you qualify financially.

If you need additional financial assistance, FANTIC can reduce your cost to $0 if you qualify. Please refer to the INCOME GUIDELINES below to determine if you may qualify.
  • You must qualify for FastForward to be eligible to receive FANTIC financial assistance.
  • This grant program has limited funding, and students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
  • When you complete a Workforce Solutions Financial Assistance Application, we will determine the most appropriate and beneficial financial assistance program for you.
  • If you do not qualify for FANTIC funding or FANTIC funding lapses, we will review other financial assistance options.

What is expected?

Those participating in this program will be expected to attend and participate in all classes regularly, successfully complete the class, and attempt to attain the designated credential or licensure at the end of the program. The Workforce Credential Grant will cover the cost of embedded credential assessments, but the cost of a third-party/off-site assessment (not included in the class cost) will be the applicant’s financial responsibility.

If you qualify for Workforce Financial Assistance, you will pay $0.
